InternetLab, an independent law and technology research center, with the institutional support of the Law School of the University of São Paulo (FDUSP), organizes, annually, the International Conference on “Fundamental Rights and Criminal Procedure in the Digital Age”.
Year after year, the conference seeks to promote the debate concerning the protection of fundamental rights and the safeguards applied to criminal procedure in face of the advance in digital technology, the amount of data collected, shared and processed nowadays and the consequent impact on criminal dynamics and on the performance of the criminal justice system.
